There are more EV Chargers at Sunway Carnival Mall in Seberang Perai, Penang as DC Handal has deployed a 240kW DC Charger.

Prior to this, the only fast chargers available at the mall are Tesla Superchargers which are still exclusive to Tesla vehicles only.

With the latest deployment, DC Handal now has a total of 27 EV Charge Points inclusive of the 23 x AC Charge Points deployed in May 2026.

The new DC Handal chargers are branded Zeekr Power and they have deployed an Autel 240kW DC charging solution with a total of four bays. It is located on the ground floor at the East Entrance of Sunway Carnival Mall.

Similar to the Tesla Supercharger, a valet fee of RM5 applies to charge at this location.

These chargers are priced at RM1.40 per kWh and you can activate it by tapping your credit or debit card at the card terminal. The terminal also accepts TNG eWallet QR payment as well.

Alternatively, you can also activate these chargers via app using GentariGo, ChargEV and JomCharge.

In total, DC Handal has 4 x DC charge points and 23 x AC Charge Points at Sunway Carnival Mall Penang. The previous free chargers have been replaced by cabled 22kW AC Charge Point units which are priced at RM1.00 per kWh.

• Zone A Level CP3 – 12 x 22kW AC Charge Points (Pillar G2 – G7)

• Zone C Level CP4 – 5 x 22kW AC Charge Points

• Zone B Basement – 6 x 22kW AC Charge Points (Pillar H13)
