SoyaCincau Awards 2025: CPO of the Year

DC Handal won the Bronze Award for Charge Point Operator (CPO) of the Year in the SoyaCincau Awards 2025. Here are the key highlights:
Major Achievement:
Opened the Medini EV Forecourt in Johor, which can serve as a template for large-scale DC charging hubs SoyaCincau features 28 charging bays with a capacity of 1.6MW – the largest for a publicly-accessible EV charging location at the moment.
Additional Improvements:
Expanded payment options by adding support for Touch ‘n Go eWallet QR payment to its card terminal. Over at DC Handal, graciously there’s 0 price hike on charging fees, with quite a number of DC chargers priced at under RM1.50 per kWh.
Context:
The Awards recognised the best EVs and CPOs in Malaysia for 2025, with TNB Electron taking Gold and Gentari taking Silver in the CPO category.
