More large scale EV charging infrastructure are being deployed in tandem with the growth of EVs in Malaysia. There’s a new EV charger deployment happening almost every week.

Meet DC Handal’s Mall of Medini EV charging forecourt located next to Mall of Medini in Johor. This location is one of the largest EV charging hubs in Malaysia with 28 DC charging bays which can support up to 300kW.

It uses Kempower DC charging solution with 5 clusters of 300kW chargers distributed among 4-6 satellite terminals.

Not only this EV charging location is covered and has solar on the roof, the bays are large enough to accommodate electric buses as well. These chargers are priced at RM1.30/kWh and you can activate them via credit/debit card, TNG eWallet and charging apps including ChargeEV, Gentari Go and JomCharge.
